We work to reform marijuana laws at both the state and local level in Colorado. As part of our work, we normally hold an annual lobby day at the Capitol in early February to bring constituents from across the state to discuss marijuana and marijuana-related bills with their legislators. Due to Covid, we have decided to transform our lobby day this year into a virtual lobby week that will take place from Monday, March 15th through Friday, March 19th.
We facilitated Lobby Week to encourage communication between Colorado lawmakers and their constituents. A crucial component of passing sensible marijuana legislation is interaction between citizens and the Legislature. During Lobby Week, constituents can meet with their legislators and discuss cannabis-related issues that pertain to their respective district. By partaking in Lobby Week, you are ensuring that your voice is heard.
We will be meeting before each scheduled call to go over some training and review talking points. Be sure you PRE-REGISTER for the event so we get you in the correct meeting as a constituent with YOUR legislator.
