Delivery of Medical & Recreational Cannabis is becoming a reality with HB19-1234

Colorado cannabis community there is legislation pending to allow licensed marijuana businesses to deliver both medical and adult use marijuana to private residences.

House Bill 19-1234 would establish a licensing system for such delivery services and also require training for delivery permit holders.

Passage of this legislation will ensure that patients and consumers have convenient access to cannabis products, without having to travel unreasonably long distances to access a retail outlet.

Legislation to Expand Medical Cannabis Access in Colorado

Legislation is pending in Colorado that would expand the pool of individuals eligible for medical cannabis.

Senate Bill 19-013 would permit physicians to recommend cannabis therapy for any condition for which an opiate would otherwise be prescribed.

House Bill 19-1028 would permit physicians to recommend cannabis therapy to those diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.

HB19-1031 would allowing each parental guardian to serve as a minor medical marijuana patient's primary caregiver, and, in connection therewith, making an appropriation.
