About Colorado NORML
Colorado NORML is dedicated to reforming marijuana laws and protecting the marijuana consumer. Colorado NORML also supports NORML's mission of moving public opinion sufficiently to achieve the repeal of marijuana prohibition so that the responsible use of cannabis by adults is no longer subject to criminal sanction.
Colorado NORML is a state chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). We are working to educate our fellow Coloradoans about marijuana including hemp, its potential medical and industrial uses, and about the need to end current laws prohibiting marijuana possession and distribution.
We are working cooperatively with the other organizations with common interests, such as the Marijuana Policy Project, LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition), SENSIBLE, SAFER, and many other friends.
Since its founding in 1970, NORML has provided a voice in the public policy debate for those Americans who oppose marijuana prohibition and favor an end to the practice of arresting marijuana consumers. A non-profit public-interest advocacy group, NORML represents the interests of the millions of Americans who consume marijuana responsibly.
